This post is about my recent family trip and my 2nd laid back look.
Trips and Vacations are meant to be relaxing and laid back. So, I thought of wearing this oversized Overalls with an oversized check shirt. This easy to carry look was so comfortable and chic at the same time. Overalls made a comeback in 2017 and are trending in fashion. I somehow feel that overalls are never out of fashion when it comes to street style and gives you such a comfy hassle free look. Best part about overalls is that, they can be worn in summer and spring and winters and in almost any season. Pair it up with a loose tee or a shirt and you are summer ready or pair it up with a sweater or a sweat shirt and you are winter ready.
This navy blue oversized overall I wore is from Koovs and I paired it up with an oversized check shirt of the same hue. Completed my look with half updo, a reflector and my favorite pair of back shoes.
Family vacation is a must to create beautiful memories and specially when you stay away from home and rarely get a chance to be with your full family. So this time we planned this 2 nights and 3 days trip to this place Coorg (Karnataka,India), which is a Hill station and one of the favorite destinations for all nature lovers near Bengaluru. It is around 260 km from Bengaluru and takes around 5.30 hrs to reach Coorg via road. Coorg is famous for its exotic coffee and it non-veg delicacies. It has got awesome view points and some must visit places.
We stayed in a luxury cottage homestay named “Coffee Cottage”. It is a 3 floor bungalow equipped with all necessary things. It is situated in Madikeri and has got mesmerizing view from its balcony. Check out the view pics below:
Day 1 (Day we reached): Raja’s seat
This place has got a beautiful view point and it was all foggy .
Day 2: Talakaveri which is Kaveri river’s origin
Day 3 (Way back to Bengaluru):
- Dubare elephant cave which is a must visit place in Coorg. I heard so much about this place that I was looking forward to visit this place. One had to walk across a small stream of river to reach the main elephant camp which is quiet adventurous, but unfortunately we could not go to Elephant camp because of the tribal fest which was going on. Checkout this river pic from Dubare camp.
2. Nisargdhama forest – a man made forest. It has got a small part of river where you can sit and enjoy the cold water stream. It also has a small part as bamboo forest and a hanging bridge.
3. Namdroling Monastery, which is a beautiful Buddhist temple.
