Hey Guys,
I am writing this post after a long time and I so missed it. It was my little sissy’s wedding and I was super occupied in all kinda marriage stuff (basically shopping) which included 10 rounds to the mall, then to the tailor and then again to the market and lots n lots of online shopping… But Yayy finally its over and I am back to my boring routine. But the good part is I am all into my blog writing again.
Wedding season is going on and in this post I am going to talk about 4 different wedding looks which you can absolutely rock this wedding season. I had this fun collaboration with my YouTuber friend Astha (@thechicwanderer) and we had an amazing shoot for 4 different wedding guest looks. We all love weddings, and the best part about a wedding is FOOD :P.., yes but also the dressing up part.
I am not much of a saree person unless its a wedding in my family.. so instead of a saree or a lehenga I went for 2 super simple yet stylish looks for this wedding season. And Astha too went for these 2 super chic yet simple looks. Checkout our looks:
- LOOK 1:
- My Look: I paired up my Magenta half saree with silk Green co-ordinates including a top and a dhoti, giving it a fusion look. Unlike normal saree, half saree is much easier to carry and looks really cool when draped with a dhoti pant or a pencil pant. I went for this plain crepe saree. For top and bottom, I refashioned my Mom’s old silk saree and got this pretty top and dhoti pants stiched. My idea behind choosing these bright colors was to basically give that wedding vibe to my whole look. Also, accessorized my look by a Green headchain and an oversized ring.
- Astha’s Look: Astha wore a Red angrakha kurta with White Garara and Golden tissue dupatta. Red is obviously the color of the season. Red always looks good with White and this Golden tissue dupatta is adding that little bling to the whole look. She paired up her look with these beautiful kundan earings and completed her look with a red bindi.
2. LOOK 2:
- My Look: In my 2nd look, I wore this Black brocade Lehenga skirt with a classic button down Black shirt. This again is a fusion look. Shirt with Lehenga is this seasons trend and so many celebrities were spotted pulling off this combination this year. The best part about this combo is that it looks so chic and classy at the same time plus super easy to caryy without any dupatta fuss. To give my all Black outfit a pop of color, I completed my look with Green pearl choker necklace and a Green bindi.
- Astha’s look: Astha’s 2nd look is super chic and looks beautiful on her. She wore this easy breezy and chic kimono style satin jumpsuit. Jumpsuit is something we all love and no matter what, it always makes us feel comfortable yet so stylish. To give her outfit an ethnic touch, she paired up her look with this beautiful traditional Golden jewellery and a Zari work Clutch.
